About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Specialist (SDS) to join our growing sales team. As an SDS, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth through focused and targeted outbound activity in addition to handling inbound requests from channel partners and new customers, within defined vertical sectors and territories. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to contribute to our company’s expansion.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential new business opportunities within the defined market segment of vertical accounts and/or defined territories.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Prospect and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders through various channels, including cold calling, emails, networking, and industry events.
- Deliver compelling and persuasive sales presentations, showcasing the value proposition of our products and services to prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, to ensure our messaging and value proposition evolves to drive increased results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.
- Continuously stay updated on industry best practices, product knowledge, and emerging trends to effectively communicate our offerings to clients
- Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly, utilising the Red Sift tools such as SFDC, 6Sense, Navigator, Zoom and Cognism, amongst others.
About you
- Fluency in the German or French language
- Proven track record of success, with a focus on new business acquisition.
- Experience of selling and positioning new propositions into enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving sales environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed and attend industry events.
- Security SaaS sales experience preferential
